What Brings you Joy?
What is it you want? I often ask my clients, and quite often the answer is: To be happy.
Being happy often seems like the ultimate goal for all of us. Happiness also looks differently to each individual. I often encourage my clients, while on the journey of healing, to start to incorporate joy into their lives. I ask them to begin to focus their energy on things they enjoy; engage in activities they’ve always held themselves back from. Engage in experiences they feel will elevate them and bring on happiness. It can be a project or creative endeavor they’ve always wanted to start, or even learning something new. Those are just a some ideas.
